Papy has been a cornerstone of the Bruce-Grey Catholic community since August 2017. His journey with us has been a testament to servant leadership, having served with distinction as Vice-Principal, Principal, and most recently as a member of the Senior Administration team.
Rooted in Gospel values, equity, and inclusion, Papy’s work has always been driven by the belief that every student is a child of God, deserving of a place where they truly belong. Whether through his global insights from international leadership or his local dedication to our classrooms, his focus has always remained true: fostering an environment where faith and academic excellence flourish together.
While we feel a sense of loss when a leader of his integrity moves on, within our Catholic tradition, we understand that we are called to be a "sending" community.
We will miss his daily presence in our hallways, and we view this as an opportunity for Papy to bring his unique, faith-filled perspective to our friends at Bluewater DSB. His growth is a reflection of the strength of our own leadership culture at BGCDSB.
Papy, his wife, and three children remain valued members of our local community in Saugeen Shores and his move is sure to strengthen the bond we already have with our colleagues at BWDSB. As he transitions to this new chapter, we express our deepest gratitude for his years of "Letting Your Light Shine" across our schools.
We ask you to join us in prayer for Papy as he continues his journey in educational leadership with the BWDSB . We are confident that the seeds he has planted here will continue to grow, and we wish him God’s continued blessings in his service to the students of Bruce and Grey counties.
