Failing to do so can result in hefty fines and demerit points, according to the Highway Traffic Act. Moreover, it's illegal to overtake a school bus when it's showing its stop sign and activated red lights.

On October 19, we're celebrating School Bus Driver Appreciation Day. The Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board wishes to share our gratitude to our bus drivers for their commitment to safely transporting students daily. In addition to our drivers, a big thank you goes to the monitors, bus operators, and the team at the Student Transportation Service Consortium of Grey-Bruce for their dedication.
